Linda van Niekerk is a jewellery designer based in the beautiful Huon Valley in Tasmania's south. Her bold, elegant and deceptively simple jewellery has been exhibited and sold at Handmark Gallery since she relocated to Tasmania from Sydney in 2005.

Although much of Linda's work reflects the aesthetic of her birthplace, Africa, she finds herself increasingly seduced by the incredible natural beauty of her new home.

Her unconventional and sometimes unorthodox approach to design has gained recognition. Since 2004 she has presented solo exhibitions and participated actively in group shows in galleries across Australia. Linda has been a finalist in prestigious contemporary jewellery awards in Australia in 2006, 2007 and 2010 as well as winning the Tasmanian Design Award in 2010.

A selection of Linda's new and earlier work is presented on this site. Although some of the pieces may be shown as 'SOLD' please do feel free to enquire as similar work not shown may be available.
