Beth Ellingworth - jeweller

Beth was born in South Africa. She lived there until her early 20’s when she sailed from Cape Town to Australia via California, where she worked for the jeweller Jack Vic. She came to Tasmania in 1977, and attended Art School while working part-time for Sargisons.


Her next big travelling experience was to India where she lived for a year. On her return to Hobart she set up her own studio where she began to produce work we now recognise.


Beth has shown with Handmark Gallery for 15 years and has built up a strong Hobart following.
