Michaye Boulter - painter

Boulter says "My paintings are about the glow of the world around me and my sense of awe. A dark thundering cloud penetrated with the intensity of evening light. The contrast of a still blue sky beyond the dramatic play of clouds."

Daughter of a seafarer, wife of a seafarer, Boulter's intimate knowledge of land from the sea, in particular Bruny Island where she lives, gives these new works a sense of authority and authenticity.
