about
Since 1980 Handmark Gallery has encouraged an extraordinary range of talents from the Tasmanian art and craft movements. The most successful of these artists are now represented in national and international galleries, and in many private and government collections.
In 2009 the Handmark Gallery Hobart welcomed the opening of a sister gallery in Evandale, Northern Tasmania. Now truly state-wide in exposure, Handmark Gallery Evandale exhibits the same outstanding range of Tasmanian talent that has made Handmark Gallery synonymous with fine Tasmanian art and design for decades.
Works by new and established artists and craftspeople are represented at solo and at group Exhibitions in both galleries monthly throughout the year. The Galleries maintains a varied stock of ceramics, glass, jewellery, wood and textiles, together with paintings, works on paper and sculpture.
Both galleries export pieces all over the world, to collectors and clients who continue to place regular orders with our unique list of gallery artists.
